Creative Surfaces Inc., a national leader in custom store fixtures, signage, and countertops for retail, automotive, and casino industries, is expanding its Supply Chain Team in Sioux Falls, SD. They are seeking a Buyer to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and send purchase orders for products, goods, and services
• Review packing list and follow up on back-ordered products
• Process Return Material Authorization and Supplier Corrective Actions
• Review production prints to ensure all the necessary parts were requested and ordered
• Track cost and reason for any urgent production orders
• Process and put away inbound purchases
• Verify items received match the associated invoices
• Maintain project timelines and communicate back to production and operations teams
• Organize and manage inventory with the warehouse
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to talk, hear, sit, stand, walk upstairs
• Frequently required to use hands to handle or feel, and reach with arms
• Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Able to frequently lift and move up to 20 lbs. and occasionally lift and move up to 75 lbs.
• Capability to work in various physical positions, including sitting, standing, bending, crouching, and working at heights
• Specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Manual dexterity required to operate computer, forklift and peripherals

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively manage relationships with suppliers, other departments, and colleagues
• Highly organized with strong attention to details, multi-tasking is a must
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Negotiation experience
• Ability to work and communicate well with others
• Computer literate
• Proficient in Google Suites, Microsoft Word, and Excel
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
