Key Responsibilities

• Source and purchase ingredients, packaging materials, and production supplies.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing requirements.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Operations, and Warehouse teams to ensure uninterrupted supply.
• Analyze market conditions and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Track supplier performance regarding quality, delivery, and service levels.
• Issue and manage purchase orders and ensure accurate documentation.
• Resolve supply chain issues and expedite deliveries when necessary.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the purchasing process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Procurement, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of food industry regulations and supply chain practices is a plus.
