BUTCHER SHOP ASSISTANT

About the role

The ideal candidate will be a creative problem solver, collaborative team member, and excited about whole animal butchery and local agriculture. They will assist customers in person and over the phone, help produce and create value-added products, maintain shop cleanliness, and fill in wherever needed.

Qualifications

• A strong work ethic
• Attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift heavy objects and be on their feet for long periods of time
• Experience in hospitality or retail is a plus

Pay

Hourly, $20/hr +

Schedule

The shop is currently open to the public 3 days a week, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with Wednesday being our prep-day. Working hours are 10am-5pm Wednesday, 10am-8pm Thursday and Friday, and 9am-4pm on Saturday.
