Busser - The Boathouse

The Burleigh in Kennebunkport is seeking a Busser to join the food and beverage team. This role requires a focused, motivated, and efficient individual who can multitask in a busy setting.

About the role

This supporting role is integral to the Kennebunkport Resort Collection's diverse portfolio of luxury lodging and dining options.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and co-workers
• Engage in clear, consistent communication with leadership and restaurant staff
• Prioritize and respond to tasks in a timely manner
• Serve customers efficiently and effectively
• Know basic food ingredients of each dish
• Interact with others easily

Guest Service

• Maintain high standards of guest satisfaction
• Proactively relay all customer interactions and complaints to the Manager on duty

Additional Responsibilities

• Assist waiters with efficient food delivery to the dining room
• Provide timely service and expedite table preparation for new guests
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor
• Be able to stand for the entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs
