Busser-Server Assistant

About the role

We’re searching for someone who is enthusiastic, takes direction well, and communicates easily with customers and team members. The busser-server assistant works closely with our main servers to make sure customers get their food on time, and their beverage glasses stay filled. You’ll be responsible for clearing plates and cleaning the table when customers leave, and then resetting it with tableware for the next guests.

Responsibilities

• Clear plates and clean tables after customers leave
• Keep kitchen and server stations fully stocked with condiments and other food items
• Address customer questions and alert servers when needed
• Learn the menu and communicate with customers effectively
• Ensure food safety and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements

• A sense of urgency and organization
• Familiarity with food safety rules
• Food service experience (preferred)
• Enthusiasm and eagerness to learn

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Basic computer skills (optional)
