Key Responsibilities
- Affirms that all materials used by servers are clean and ready for daily operation.
- Knows the location of each diner’s chair in dining rooms and lounges.
- Sets the outside line with underliner plates, flatware, doilies, linen napkins, and other items needed for food delivery.
- Organizes plates in the window and matches each plate with its corresponding ticket for food delivery.
- Sets tables according to Troon Golf standards.
- Ensures that each menu item is prepared exactly as specified on the ticket.
- Corrects menu items with the chef if they do not meet the exact specification on the ticket.
- Fills and refills water glasses and removes unused place settings.
- Clears dishes in front of guests after each course.
- Clears and resets tables when guests leave, including changing tablecloths, brushing chairs, placing chairs at tables, replacing silverware and glassware, and replacing napkins.
- Assists servers when needed.
- Keeps workstations well-stocked with items and ingredients.
- Cleans workstations, takes out trash, and vacuums the dining room.
- Performs tasks safely.
Minimum Qualifications
- One month related experience or training.
