Key Responsibilities

• Affirms that all materials used by servers are clean and ready for daily operations.
• Knows the location of each diner’s chair in dining rooms and lounges.
• Positions the outside line with underliner plates, flatware, doilies, linen napkins, and other necessary items for food delivery.
• Organizes plates in the window and matches each plate with its corresponding ticket to serve the food to tables.
• Plants tables according to Troon Golf standards.
• Ensures that each menu item is prepared exactly as specified on the ticket.
• Communicates with the chef if a menu item does not meet the ticket specifications.
• Fills and refills water glasses and removes unused place settings.
• Cleans and resets tables after guests finish their meals, including changing tablecloths, brushing chairs, placing chairs at tables, replacing silverware and glassware, and replacing napkins.
• Assists servers as needed.
• Keeps workstations well-stocked with items and ingredients.
• Cleans workstations, takes out trash, and vacuums the dining room.
• Enforces safe work practices.

Qualifications

• One month of relevant experience or training.
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism, cleanliness, and neatness.
• Regular and reliable attendance, including weekends and holidays.

About the Role

The Peninsula Golf and Country Club in Millsboro, Delaware, is hiring a part-time Busser for a seasonal position lasting 6 months or less.
