About the Role

Manchester Country Club is seeking a part-time Busser to thrive in a hospitality environment and provide superior service.

Responsibilities

• Assures all material used by servers is clean and ready for daily operation.
• Possesses knowledge of the position of each diner’s chair in the dining rooms and lounges.
• Sets the outside line with under liner plates, flatware, doilies, linen napkins, and any other items needed for delivering food.
• Organizes plates in the window and matches each with tickets to run food to tables.
• Sets tables in accordance with Troon Golf standards.
• Ensures each menu item is prepared exactly as outlined on each ticket; corrects discrepancies with the chef before delivery.
• Fills and refills water glasses and removes unused place settings.
• Clears dishes in front of guests upon completion of a course.
• Clears and resets tables when guests leave, including changing tablecloths, brushing chairs, replacing silverware, glassware, and napkins.
• Assists servers as needed.
• Keeps workstations well-stocked with items and ingredients.
• Cleans workstations, takes out trash, and vacuums the dining room.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

• One month of related experience or training.

• Ability to maintain professionalism, cleanliness, and neatness.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
