About the role

Back Servers at the Restaurant are the Server’s main line of support and play an integral role in creating a professional, organized, and unique experience for all our guests. At the core of our front-of-house team, back servers have the guest's interest as the utmost priority. Responsibilities

• Ensure all tables are properly set, unneeded items are cleared, and settings for each course are prepared prior to items arriving.
• Refill waters and coffee, and clean and reset tables in a timely manner.
• Take initiative and study all food and beverage menus to better acquaint themselves with offerings and answer guest questions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, cocktail area, server stations, and specific back-of-house areas.
• Complete pre-opening, ongoing, and end-of-shift side work daily.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in an upscale restaurant.
• Embrace hospitality and enjoy engaging with guests, thinking creatively to go above and beyond in service execution.
• Thrive in a teamwork-based environment and aspire to advance in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Exercise respect and professionalism by arriving on time, prepared, and in a clean and pressed uniform.
• Advanced verbal and written English communication and presentation skills.
• Flexibility with availability; consistent schedules are preferred but not guaranteed.
• Full mobility in a fast-paced environment; ability to walk up and down stairs and lift, push, or pull up to 30 pounds.
