Business Unit Controller - Contract

Manta Search is partnering with our client on a 90-day contract search for a Controller. The OpportunityYou'll act as a finance business partner to the Commercial Sales team. You'll work alongside sales leaders on customer tenders (bids), turn financial data into clear recommendations, and help the business win profitable work. You'll be part of a collaborative team of Finance Business Partners and work across regions in an international setting. What You'll DoPartner with the Commercial Sales Director and sales leaders across regions, giving them the financial analysis they need to make sound commercial decisionsAdvise on tender risks and opportunities, including cash flow, terms and conditions, and tax implicationsOwn monthly reporting: month-end consolidation, variance commentary, forecast updates, and management reports for global headquartersSupport strategic and financial planning for the medium-term business planSpot opportunities to improve financial performance and help drive projects such as scenario analysis and segment profitability reportingKeep reporting compliant with company financial policies and controls What You BringBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or master's is a plus)5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or a top-tier consulting firmManufacturing or related industry experience is required (industrial, engineering, equipment, or project-based environments are a strong fit)Finance business partnering experience, ideally supporting sales or commercial teamsStrong Excel and PowerPoint skills (Power BI is a plus)CPA, CMA, or ACCA is a plusComfortable working in a global matrix organization and building relationships at every levelClear communicator who can explain the numbers to people who aren't in financeOrganized, detail oriented, and able to prioritize in a fast-moving setting Why This RoleHands-on, visible work with a global industry leaderA defined 90-day engagement with a clear scope and a meaningful impactExposure to international finance and commercial teamsLimited international travel and no direct reports, so you can focus on the analysis and partnership Apply today to learn more!
