Business Technology Teacher (CTE)

Requirements / Qualifications

• BS, AS Degree in Business Administration or a related field
• Highly preferred to be certified in Microsoft Suite
• Credentialed in Business and Finance
• Must be able to qualify or hold CTE credential with ELA Authorization
• CTE credential can be gained through 3 years of work experience within a business field directly related to the industry sector
• At least two years teaching experience preferred
• A valid drivers license and insurance required

Comments And Other Information

• Provide instruction to at-risk students
• Teach content and skills in the assigned subject matter
• Teach a program through CTE courses
• Develop and implement lesson plans for subject matter curriculum
• Improve academic skills and provide career and vocational awareness/education
• Instruct students in citizenship and basic communication skills
• Work effectively with multi-cultural/diverse groups
• Possess knowledge of concepts in computers in an instructional environment
