About the role
The successful candidate will teach business courses to high school students in the 2026-2027 school year at Fredonia High School.
Responsibilities
- Teach business courses aligned with state standards
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum requirements
- Assess student progress through various methods including tests, projects, and classroom participation
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills
- Maintain accurate records and report grades as required
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure a positive learning environment
Requirements
- Current certification in Business and Marketing from the New York State Education Department
- A bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
- Experience teaching business courses preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business or related field
- Additional graduate credits in business education
- Experience working with diverse student populations

- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Pay
Salary per FTA Contract: $44,066
