Business Teacher

Job Summary

Global Leadership Academy is seeking a qualified High School Business Teacher to prepare students for success in today's business world through engaging, standards-based instruction.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Teach high school business education courses, which may include Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Personal Finance, Accounting, Digital Information Technology, and related subjects.
• Deliver standards-aligned instruction using Florida State Standards and Career and Technical Education (CTE) frameworks, as applicable.
• Develop students' understanding of business principles, financial literacy, and career readiness.
• Integrate technology and real-world business applications into daily instruction.
• Use student assessment data to monitor progress and guide instructional decisions.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students.
• Maintain a structured, engaging, and positive classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
• Collaborate with instructional staff, school leadership, and CTE partners to support student achievement.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid Florida Teaching Certificate in Business Education (6–12).
• Strong knowledge of business, finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, and workplace readiness concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Three (3) or more years of successful teaching experience.
• Experience teaching high school business education or Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses.

Work Schedule

In-person position, Monday through Friday 8-hour shift.
