Business Tax Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Advises on the tax aspects of taxable and tax-free mergers and acquisitions, buyouts, and restructurings.
• Supports private equity transactions, fund formations, joint ventures, and financings.
• Affords assistance with inbound and outbound international tax planning.
• Engages in matters involving tax credits, incentives, and complex financial instruments.
• Drafts tax analyses, transaction documents, and client memoranda.
• Manages multiple active matters in a high-volume transactional environment.

Who You Are

• At least 2 years of experience as a transactional tax associate in a law firm.
• Strong academic credentials, including an LL.M. in Taxation (required).
• Comfortable working across multiple deals simultaneously in a fast-moving practice.
• Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and client-focused.

Compensation

Salary: $235,000
