Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. Responsibilities

  • Reviews and understands system test requirements, integrated testing activities, and results
  • Provides user acceptance testing prior to full production deployments
  • Defines the appropriate test to be carried out including the test data to be used
  • Liaises with the requirements gathering and software development teams
  • Runs diagnostic and system testing and presents the information to the relevant stakeholders
  • Interacts with and coordinates test validation, including post-production validation with stakeholders
  • Provides a comprehensive approach to defect management (e.g., defect clustering, triaging, etc.)
  • Understands various stages of system testing (e.g., performance, integration, regression, functional, etc.)
  • Creates opportunities to increase efficiency, consistency, and value of testing
  • Understands system environments to optimize testing strategies

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience

Qualifications

  • 3+ years developing and analyzing the development of test plans, test scripts, and training manuals for distribution to system end-users for testing (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, computer science, or related field (preferred)
  • Ability to write, modify, and interpret SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) as part of test execution
  • Experience in agile/communication tools (JIRA, Confluence), process visualization tools (Visio), and test management tools (qTest) (preferred)
  • Proficiency in software testing, including functional and regression testing
  • Experience in test techniques and programming
  • Above-average planning and organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of the Agile Scrum methodology and processes (strongly desired)
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer relationship skills, including strong listening skills

Pay

Base Pay Range: $55,000 – $95,000 USD. An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, scope and responsibilities, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. This position is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
