About the role
Sensiba is seeking a strategic and "hands-on" Business Systems Solutions Manager to serve as a vital link between our corporate technology stack and our firm’s strategic evolution.
Responsibilities
- Arcitectural Strategy & Governance: Advocate for and design the solution architecture for all corporate technology. Ensure seamless interaction between systems like Salesforce and Sage Intacct.
- Technical Vision Execution: Collaborate with the Chief Product Officer and engineering to maintain and evolve our data and systems ecosystem.
- Documentation & Enablement: Create and maintain comprehensive, up-to-date documentation for all system configurations, business logic, and integration workflows. Establish firm-wide standards for user enablement.
- People Management & Project Oversight: Provide day-to-day direction and managerial oversight of a small team, ensuring alignment with project objectives, adherence to quality standards, and effective coordination with internal teams.
- Cross-Functional Solutioning: Partner with functional leaders to ensure our corporate tech stack supports the entire client and employee lifecycle, making critical "build vs. buy" decisions.
- Quote-to-Cash Orchestration: Own the logic that allows data to flow perfectly from a contract to an invoice, revenue recognition template, and billing schedule downstream.
- Integration Strategy: Determine the most effective integration paths, deciding when to utilize out-of-the-box solutions versus bespoke middleware to keep our ecosystem performant and scalable.
- Financial & Operational Stewardship: Act as a "Critical Friend" to the business, monitoring our technology cost footprint and ensuring our systems facilitate the transition from traditional productivity metrics to value-based outcomes.
- Master Data Advocacy: Establish and maintain the standards for data integrity and governance, ensuring that our systems provide high-fidelity insights for leadership decision-making.
Requirements
- Experience: 10+ years in Business Systems, Solutions Architecture, or a similar role, with proven experience managing, directing, and quality-assuring the work of individual contributors or Salesforce professionals. Experience in a global Professional Services or B2B environment is highly favorable.
- Leadership: Demonstrates a balance of high emotional intelligence and strategic thinking, with experience managing, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of professional services operations and accounting principles, specifically Bookings vs. Billings vs. Revenue Recognition.
- Global Literacy: Experience understanding how geography and multi-entity structures create unique challenges for business operations and system configurations.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep hands-on experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, including Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder, or Architect track certifications. Experience with Sage Intacct or equivalent financial systems is highly favorable.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred; a degree in IT or Technology is also welcomed.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to build and lead teams, align talent to business objectives, and create a high-performing culture.
- The Holistic Systems Thinker: Understands the impact of changes in one system on the entire business operating system and maintains a "firm-first" mindset.
- The Collaborative Bridge: Builds rapport with different departments and navigates their needs with diplomacy and a focus on aligned outcomes.
- Technically Pragmatic: Enjoys being "hands-on" with the stack and sees the value in clean integrations.
