About the role
Bain Capital's Corporate Technology team is seeking a qualified leader to support enterprise platforms and drive adoption of AI and emerging technologies across corporate technology functions.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key resource driving the responsible adoption and scaling of AI and emerging technologies across corporate technology teams.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities to leverage various data lakes and AI tools to optimize workflows, analytics, and reporting for corporate business functions.
- Stay current on the evolving AI tooling landscape; proactively identify opportunities, advise stakeholders on best-fit solutions, and drive informed technology decisions.
- Partner closely with the business to prototype solutions, pilot new capabilities, and build scalable tools that address key pain points.
- Provide ongoing evaluation of technology solutions and capabilities to ensure alignment with business objectives; identify areas of risk while monitoring the current environment, potential improvement areas, and financial implications of technology decisions.
- Gather, validate, document, and facilitate implementation of business requirements for technology initiatives, including business/data requirements, data flows, data modeling, workflow context and design, and user interface design.
- Lead and participate in user acceptance testing, and support system training and documentation efforts.
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across business and technical teams.
- Balance responsibilities related to production support and project work simultaneously, prioritizing across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Create and maintain documentation in support of business and technology requests.
- Manage platform releases, testing, and system upgrades, ensuring smooth adoption of new features.
- Present solution designs, requirements, and project updates to business and technology stakeholders; lead requirements-gathering sessions with confidence and clarity.
Technology Experience
- Comfortable using large language models (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT) for day to day for data analysis and automation; working knowledge of prompt engineering and agentic / workflow automation frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills paired with vibe coding experience; comfortable directing an AI coding agent through natural language to prototype, debug, and iterate on solutions quickly.
- Demonstrated experience evaluating and piloting AI tools and emerging technologies within an enterprise setting strongly preferred.
- Experience working with enterprise data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, data lake/data warehouse environments) to support AI-driven analytics and reporting a plus.
- Familiarity with core enterprise systems such as ServiceNow, Workday, Box, Airtable, Asana, iManage, or Azure DevOps a plus.
- Familiarity with technology architectures and concepts: cloud computing, web interfaces, relational databases, and application integration.
- Hands-on experience understanding business requirements, designing, prototyping, testing solutions, and training users in an agile environment.
- Experience working in teams using agile software project management processes.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience supporting and implementing enterprise applications.
- Proficiency in business intelligence applications (e.g., Tableau or Power BI) a plus.
- Credentials in translating elicitation sessions into clear requirements documentation, workflows, and functional use cases.
- Prior experience supporting corporate functional areas such as Human Resources, Corporate Finance, Compliance, Tax, Legal, or Procurement a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field.
- 7+ years of relevant systems analyst experience.
- Previous consulting experience a plus.
- Strong technical skillset with prior hands-on BSA experience required.
- A self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving, idea generation, and driving initiatives independently.
- Ability to balance innovation with risk management, bringing structure to a rapidly evolving technology landscape.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and present actionable insights.
- Experience with investment management, private equity, venture capital, or alternative investment concepts, terminology, and systems a plus.
- Must be able to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously and prioritize assignments to deliver quality work in a timely manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with experience supporting a functionally diverse, informed user base that demands high-quality solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
