About The Role The Senior Business System Analyst at Sentara Healthcare plays a vital role in supporting, enhancing, and implementing software applications used within the organization. This fully remote position involves overseeing medium-scale projects or parts of larger initiatives, developing detailed project plans, and coordinating resources to ensure successful delivery. The analyst will identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve business practices by designing and implementing application enhancements. Acting as a liaison between business units, IT teams, vendors, and end-users, the role demands a strong understanding of enrollment and eligibility processes, particularly EDI 834 transactions. The incumbent will analyze data flows, validate EDI files, and ensure compliance with industry standards, contributing to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. This position requires a proactive approach to risk mitigation, process improvement, and stakeholder communication, supporting the organization’s mission to deliver high-quality healthcare services through innovative technology solutions.
