About the role
The Business Systems Analyst/Product Owner will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our product suite. They will be responsible for understanding customer needs, designing solutions, and managing the product backlog.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Engineering, and Quality Assurance to define and prioritize product features.
- Conduct user research and gather requirements to inform product design and development.
- Manage the product backlog, ensuring that features are prioritized according to business value and technical feasibility.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment on product strategy and roadmap.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to drive the development process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a product management or systems analysis capacity.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Scrum.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable product features.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
- Experience with project management tools such as Trello, Asana, or Monday.com.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile practices.
- Understanding of data analytics and reporting tools.

Pay
