Business Systems Analyst – Manufacturing Systems (MES)

Responsibilities

  • Work with manufacturing and business stakeholders to analyze processes and gather functional requirements.
  • Incorporate leading practices and standardization to translate business needs into system requirements and solution designs.
  • Identify opportunities to digitize and improve operational workflows.
  • Perform implementation and configuration of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • Aid in integrating manufacturing systems with other applications such as Oracle EBS (ERP), LabVantage LIMS, Shop Floor Systems, and Enterprise Data Platforms.
  • Develop and execute test plans; lead user acceptance testing (UAT); validate system functionality and ensure solutions meet business requirements.
  • Support system deployments and coordinate with IT and vendors.
  • Create and maintain system documentation and training materials; train end users on new capabilities and system enhancements; provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting.
  • Partner with plant leadership, engineering teams, IT, and external vendors; facilitate workshops and discussions to align on requirements and solutions; communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Business or Systems Analysis experience.
  • Experience implementing MES or enterprise applications.
  • Experience working with project management tools and methodologies.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with manufacturing systems or MES platforms (PSI, Siemens MES, etc).
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain and Manufacturing Operations such as Production Planning, Production Scheduling, Production Execution, Quality Management.
  • Experience with system integrations across enterprise and shop floor systems.

Education

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • A Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Supply Chain, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Business Analysis certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, IIBA-AAC.
  • Supply Chain Management certifications such as CPIM, CSCP.
  • Experience in metals or heavy manufacturing environments.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This is an onsite position in our Dallas, TX office 5 days per week.
