Business Systems Analyst - Category Management

Responsibilities

• Dive deep into the world of Category Management, harnessing the power of syndicated data, space planning, and sales technology to provide impactful analytical support.
• Formulate and define the scope and objectives of our systems, ensuring alignment with business initiatives.
• Lead data analysis and reporting, translating complex results into actionable insights for our customers.
• Educate users on diverse sales and data applications, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and growth.
• Plan and coordinate team and customer activities, using your understanding of the business areas to identify specific requirements and drive the development of new data sources and systems.
• Dissect user requirements and procedures, crafting moderate to complex solutions that enhance efficiency.
• Design procedures that address workflow challenges, recommending technologies that optimize processes and deliver desired results.
• Prepare project-phase plans, conduct workshops, and maintain seamless communication with management on project status.
• Foster collaboration and enhance cross-functional processes as a liaison between users and management.
• Take bold risks and drive innovation, embodying intrapreneurship while setting high expectations and accountability.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
• A bachelor's degree plus 3 years of sales, category management, or business systems analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; or 6 years of sales, category management or business systems analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Math, Engineering or Business Administration plus 1 year of sales experience at a District Manager level, Category Management, or business systems analysis experience to include document preparation.
• Intermediate use of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access and MS PowerPoint.
• Good communication and business writing skills.
• Ability to solve practical problems, collect data, establish facts and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
• Project management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Math, Engineering or Business Administration plus 2 year of sales experience at a District Manager level, Category Management, business systems analysis experience reflecting increasing levels or responsibility to include document preparation.

Skills

• Intermediate use of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access and MS PowerPoint.
• Good communication and business writing skills.
• Ability to solve practical problems, collect data, establish facts and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
• Project management experience.

Pay

$36.35 - $54.52

Schedule
