Business Systems Analyst

About the role
As a Business Systems Analyst, you will help design, support, and enhance the business applications that power critical workflows across the organization. Working closely with business stakeholders, Product Management, Product Design, and engineering teams, you will gather requirements, document business processes, configure systems, and support application enhancements that improve operational efficiency and user experience. Your work will contribute to modernizing internal platforms, including FileMaker applications, Azure SQL integrations, and connected business systems, delivering scalable solutions that improve data quality, streamline workflows, and support evolving business needs.
Responsibilities
- Support the design, configuration, enhancement, and maintenance of scalable, high-quality FileMaker applications across new and existing business solutions.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for new initiatives and system enhancements.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Product Design, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into practical, scalable technical solutions.
- Support the development, testing, and maintenance of system integrations, including Azure SQL, iManage, and internal and external APIs.
- Assist with application testing, release validation, troubleshooting, and post-release support to ensure system quality and reliability.
- Create and maintain process documentation, system documentation, and user support materials.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes, data quality, and application performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- 1+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a related role supporting business applications, systems implementation, or process improvement preferred.
- Experience gathering business requirements and partnering with stakeholders to support application development or system enhancements.
- Experience working with relational databases, SQL, Microsoft Excel, or reporting tools.
- Experience with FileMaker, low-code platforms, or business application configuration is preferred.
- Experience in real estate, financial services, affordable housing, capital markets, or a related industry is preferred.

Schedule
Attendance is generally required from 8:30 am – 5:30 pm local time, Tuesday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
Pay
This position has an estimated base salary of $76,000 - $86,000 plus a discretionary bonus. An employment offer is based on the applicant’s relevant work experience, applicable knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
