About the role
As a Business Systems Analyst, you’ll work closely with business teams and the technology group to understand how work gets done and shape the systems that support it. You’ll help teams define their needs, translate them into system and process changes, and guide those changes from planning through rollout. The role blends process analysis, system configuration, project coordination, and user support—making you a key partner in how Tract Capital operates and grows.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales, Operations, and Finance to understand goals, workflows, and challenges
- Translate findings into clear requirements and actionable solutions
- Configure system elements (workflows, approval logic, data fields, forms) or coordinate with technical teams when development is required
- Document current and future processes, coordinate testing, and ensure changes meet business needs
- Create reference materials and deliver live or recorded training sessions to support adoption
- Monitor support requests to identify recurring issues and opportunities for improvement
- Maintain clean system rules, data structures, and permissions to support stability and scalability
Examples of Projects
- Configuring approval workflows based on project size or spend thresholds
- Importing structured contract or order data when automation alone isn’t sufficient
- Maintaining milestone dates that drive billing, reporting, or operational handoffs
- Supporting revenue and billing teams by ensuring systems reflect agreement terms
- Reviewing user roles and access to balance visibility and security
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years of business analyst experience
- Experience with ERP or CRM platforms (NetSuite preferred; Salesforce a plus)
- Strong skills in process mapping, workflow documentation, and testing coordination
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving abilities
- Confidence working across Finance, Sales, Operations, and technology teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Telecommunications engineering or operations experience
- Large, complex program management experience
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green/Black Belt)
- Familiarity with process architecture, UML, or BPM tools

Pay
Expected total compensation: $115,000 to $165,000 (Base + Annual Bonus)
