About the role

As the next generation Business Relationship Officer at East West Bank, you are part of a world-class team that focuses on delivering a high-quality, high-touch, and high-tech relationship banking experience across all customer touchpoints. You will play a key role in managing and retaining existing customers while cultivating new relationships to expand East West Bank’s customer base, growing assets, loans, and deposits. You will work with internal business partners to connect customers with specialized financial needs. We will help you grow your career by providing ongoing training to expand your business knowledge, digital acumen, and build long-lasting customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve quarterly/annual goals through business generation of C&I, CRE, mortgages, SBA, treasury management, deposits, investments, and international and other commercial and consumer products offered through East West Bank.
  • Understand the bank’s credit policy to identify client eligibility for loan products.
  • Understand clients’ business and industry to identify strategies for creating new business opportunities and provide need-based products.
  • Motivate, coach, and provide guidance to employees to achieve sales and service goals.
  • Efficiently manage time and be results-driven.
  • Expertly use digital resources and technologies to optimize clients’ digital banking experience and possess the aptitude to learn new programs.
  • Educate customers on how to use digital platforms to bank and invest when, where, and how they want.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or business-relevant associate degree such as business management, administration, or finance preferred.
  • 3+ years in commercial lending and/or consultative relationship sales role in a related industry with a proven sales track record.
  • In-depth knowledge of bank, credit, and deposit products; experience in international activities between the U.S. and Greater China preferred.
  • Strong sales and service skills, including prospecting and networking.
  • Proven success in establishing new clients, deepening customer relationships, and delivering results.
  • Strong financial acumen and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills; able to manage client concerns.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to the latest information and technology platforms.
  • Strong desire and capability to influence, educate, and connect team, partners, and customers to technology.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States (visa sponsorship is not offered at this time).

Pay

The base pay range for this position is USD $71,000.00/Yr. - USD $78,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
