Business Process Improvement Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate process mapping and analysis workshops with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Be a “vehicle of change”. This person must be comfortable working with all levels within the organization. They must be able to question the status quo and be a strong communicator.
• Map and document existing (“as-is”) workflows to highlight pain points, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Will be responsible for leading continuous improvement projects.
• Support in the design of the future (“to-be”) process.
• Trains, coaches and motivates personnel in the understanding and adoption of new principles and techniques.
• Validating solution prior to release while consulting with stakeholders
• Coverage project with external contractors and suppliers
• Auditing Business process and systems to identify non-conformances and potential improvements
• Provide communications of activities to business stakeholders

Job Qualifications

• Proven experience (3+ years) in business process improvement, process engineering, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding and practical application of Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred), and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Understanding of Business systems data flow and architecture
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and data analysis software.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects and drive results independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with ERP, PLM and MES systems and their integration into operational processes is desirable.
