About the role

At Wyetech, you’ll be at the center of an award-winning corporate culture, breaking technological barriers and solving real-world problems for our federal government customers. As the Business Process Engineer, you will serve as the Scrum Master and coordinator for a cross-functional technical team to ensure enterprise-wide integration of engineering efforts by conducting daily scrum meetings and hosting sprint planning and other Agile methodology cadences. Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance with agency-appropriate polygraph are required.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Remove impediments and blockers to enable team productivity
  • Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile/Scrum principles and practices
  • Track and communicate team metrics (velocity, burndown, sprint health)
  • Shield the team from external interruptions and scope creep
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and team self-organization
  • Apply Process Improvement and Engineering methodologies to conduct process modernization projects
  • Assist the Government with transitioning existing project teams and facilitating project activities and objectives
  • Serve as key coordinator between multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of reengineering efforts
  • Document and track initiatives and epics to drive them to completion
  • Define, implement, and maintain business processes and procedures to meet business objectives
  • Analyze and identify opportunities for business process improvements
  • Develop initiatives for continuous business process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with customer and company proposed standards
  • Work with customers and developers to integrate new and existing business processes
  • Use best practices to carry out business process analysis, re-engineering, process measurements, and change management activities
  • Work with stakeholders to identify business requirements, processes, and risks

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency-appropriate polygraph
  • United States Citizenship
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Business discipline

Skills

  • 7 years’ experience conducting Business Process Reengineering (BPR) activities
  • 5+ years serving as Scrum Master for software development teams, utilizing Process Improvement methodologies (e.g., Agile technologies, Six Sigma) for GOT integration programs
  • Experience with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar)
  • Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience in government contracting environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification
  • Advanced Scrum certifications (CSP-SM, SAFe, PSM II)
  • Experience with Scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS)
  • PMP or other project management certifications
  • DevOps/CI-CD pipeline knowledge
  • Experience with business process reengineering methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean)
  • Experience supporting federal agencies

Pay

$61.80 - $83.68 per hour (pre-benefit gross wage). Hourly pay rates reflect a general guideline and may vary based on factors including government contract rates, education, relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and geographic location.
