Business Process Consultant
Essential Job Functions
- Analyzes, plans and implements routine operational process needs.
- Supports long-term planning sessions with a single client to improve business processes, generally involving use and improvement of information systems and goals.
- Affords consultation on the use of routine re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.
- Deploys plans from conception through closing on routine aspects of re-engineering projects.
- Develops routine metrics that provide data for process management and indicators for future improvement opportunities.
- Collects data to identify root cause problems.
- Researches processes to aid in the translation of business objectives into functional requirements and solution design.
- Makes measurements of performance against process requirements, aligning improvement projects to close performance shortfalls.
- Affords assistance in the assessment of degree of risk impact, timeframe, and cost of re-engineering required to achieve the desired future state.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or related field preferred
- Three or more years of organizational change consulting experience
- Experience working with business re-engineering processes
- Experience working with business processing models, Process Design, Requirements Management, and Project Management
- Experience working with re-engineering tools, methods, and techniques

Pay Range
The pay range for this position is $59,500.00 - $85,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
