About the role

As an SAP Ariba Architect, you will lead SAP Ariba solutions, acting as a liaison between suppliers, business, and AMS teams. You will serve as the subject matter expert for Ariba-related functional and technical issues, engaging with SAP CSP and business stakeholders to drive adoption of licensed Ariba solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and strategic optimization of SAP Ariba solutions for procurement and supply chain management.
  • Configure Ariba Buying & Invoicing, Ariba Sourcing and Contract, Ariba Supplier Lifecycle Performance (SLP), and Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC).
  • Design and configure the SAP S/4 system for Ariba integration, including CIG configuration to integrate with SAP S/4 and Ariba cloud applications.
  • Configure SAP Business Network integration with SAP S/4 Supply Chain Collaboration and Ariba Buying and Sourcing systems.
  • Develop and execute an overall Ariba enterprise architect strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide functional and technical direction to business stakeholders, translating procurement requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and validate changes using established change management procedures.
  • Plan, run, and manage discovery workshops with business stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Provide training and support to end-users, suppliers, and cross-functional teams on Ariba functionalities, new features, and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with SAP on custom field packages and CRDs via SAP Ariba order store.
  • Develop training materials, design workflows, and integrate proposed solutions into existing business and technical environments.
  • Configure scenarios in SAP Ariba and document project deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
  • 10+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst or Supply Chain Architect in Ariba or a similar role, with a focus on procurement during SAP implementations and support.
  • At least three end-to-end implementations of one or more Ariba applications (e.g., Ariba Buying, Sourcing, Contract, SLP, SCC).
  • Extensive expertise in Ariba Buying, Indirect Procurement, Ariba Sourcing and Contract, Ariba Supplier Management (SLP), Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC), SAP Business Network, and S/4 direct procurement functionality.
  • Knowledge of SAP ACTIVATE and SAP public/private cloud.
  • Project management experience, including planning, execution, and reporting.

Skills

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Excel and documentation.
  • SAP certification(s) preferred but not required.

Pay

The expected salary range for this role is $139,000.00 - $175,000.00 USD. The actual base pay offered will be determined by factors such as relevant experience, education, geographic location, and internal equity.
