About the role
You will lead some of the most consequential strategic work at the company — building the analytical foundation and forward-looking strategy that de-risks our supply chain as we scale production across a growing portfolio of products.
You will partner directly with executives across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Engineering, and Program Management to translate ambiguous, high-stakes problems into structured analyses and executable strategies.
Responsibilities
- Sharpen Our View of Demand: Build models, frameworks, and processes provide a clear, defensible picture of future demand across products and programs.
- Pressure-test assumptions, quantify uncertainty, and translate demand signals into actionable inputs for procurement, manufacturing, and capacity planning.
- Quantify and De-risk Commodity Exposure: Develop a deep, first-principles understanding of commodities, sub-tier suppliers, and geopolitical dynamics that drive risk in our supply chain. Build analytics to size exposure, monitor leading indicators, and inform investment decisions on inventory, dual-sourcing, vertical integration, and long-term agreements.
- Build the Strategy, Then Drive It: Synthesize analyses into a coherent production strategy and bring it to life through executive recommendations. Own work end-to-end — from problem definition, to quantitative modeling, to exec-ready synthesis, to cross-functional implementation.
- Collaborate with Executives: Structure and lead working sessions with senior leaders to frame decisions and drive alignment on trade-offs that materially shape the cost, schedule, and resilience of our production base. Translate complex findings into crisp narratives enabling rapid decision-making.
- Go Deep in Data and Systems: Master our ERP, MRP, and supply chain data. Build scrappy analyses on short timelines and develop tooling / dashboards that let functional teams continuously measure and act on critical metrics.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, internal operations, a business analyst role - or some other experience where you just had to figure out how to get stuff done.
- You are self-driven and relentlessly proactive. You don’t need someone to tell you to “move.” You just move.
- You don’t wait on others to solve problems. You proactively step into the gap to offer solutions yourself.
- You don’t have to be told what to do or how to do it — you’re the first one to bring forward solutions and ideas, and then receptively take feedback on them and iterate with the team.
- You enjoy the idea of seeing your team as “guardrails” to keep you on track, but not the engine pushing you forward. You are that engine!
- You have an appetite to build clear frameworks to structure problems.
- You have strong analytical aptitude. You intuitively think about problems in terms of numbers and data-models, and you are able to quickly execute analyses in Excel or other tools.
- You are comfortable communicating broadly and having a lot of eyes on your work. This role can at-times require comms to large groups and senior leadership. This should excite you!
