Business Operations Associate - Full Time
for section headings. Do NOT repeat the job title as a heading. Do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short
or drop it. Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. IMPORTANT: include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it — never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g. "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. We need to include sections only if they have real content. We have: - Position Overview (About the role) content: "As a Business Operations Associate, you will be the backbone of our store operations, ensuring smooth and accurate processing of sales, auctions, and appraisals. This role combines exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You’ll handle cash management, audit and process critical paperwork, and provide clear communication to customers and internal teams—all while upholding CarMax’s commitment to transparency and integrity." - Why CarMax? This is more about company; could be part of About CarMax but not required. Might be considered part of About the role? The instruction says use headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. So we can have About the role (position overview). Could also have a separate About CarMax? Not in list; but we could include as part of About the role or maybe as a separate section like "About CarMax" but not in allowed headings; better to incorporate into About the role or maybe omit if not needed. However we need to preserve all substantive information; we cannot drop it. So we need to include that content somewhere. Could put it under About the role as additional paragraph. - Role Responsibilities: list of duties. We'll output
- for each.
- Required Qualifications: list.
- About CarMax: paragraph about company. Could be placed under a heading "About CarMax" but not in allowed list. However we could treat it as part of About the role? The instruction says use headings for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It doesn't forbid other headings, but says use those for those sections. It might be okay to add other headings if needed, but better to stick to those. Could we put About CarMax under About the role? Possibly combine: "About the role" includes position overview and also company description. But the instruction says "About the role" heading for section headings (e.g. About the role...). So we can put the position overview and company description under that heading.
- Benefits: there is a Benefits section with details. We'll include Benefits heading.
- Pay: "The Hourly Rate For This Position Is $15.00 - $21.00". That's pay info. So we need Pay heading.
- Schedule: Not explicitly stated; there is mention of flexibility to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays under Required Qualifications. That's not a schedule section with specific hours. The instruction says never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. Schedule is not explicitly stated as a section; we have only a mention under qualifications. So we should not create a Schedule section.
- Skills: Not explicitly listed as separate; we have some skills in qualifications. Could we create a Skills section? The instruction says prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. We could combine qualifications and skills into Requirements or Qualifications. Since we have Required Qualifications, we can use that heading. The list includes abilities and skills. So we can use Requirements or Qualifications heading. The instruction lists both Requirements and Qualifications as possible headings. We need to decide which to use. Since we have "Required Qualifications" heading in the posting, we can use "Qualifications". Or "Requirements". Probably use "Qualifications". We'll output
Qualifications
and list items. - Benefits: we have details. We'll outputBenefits
and then maybe awith the description. Could also list bullet points but it's prose. - Pay:

- About the role:About the role
with paragraphs combining position overview and Why CarMax? and About CarMax? We'll need to preserve all substantive information. Let's extract: Position Overview paragraph: "As a Business Operations Associate, you will be the backbone of our store operations, ensuring smooth and accurate processing of sales, auctions, and appraisals. This role combines exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You’ll handle cash management, audit and process critical paperwork, and provide clear communication to customers and internal teams—all while upholding CarMax’s commitment to transparency and integrity." Why CarMax? paragraph: "At CarMax, we are the nation’s largest retailer of used cars with stores from coast to coast, and we are still growing. We’re rethinking the way people buy cars – and our associates help us do just that. We believe work should feel meaningful and rewarding, with opportunities to make an impact every day. About CarMax paragraph: "At CarMax, we revolutionized the used car buying experience over 30 years ago by introducing transparency and integrity into the process. We also have EEO statement: "CarMax is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, national origin, protected veteran status, disability status, or any other characteristic protected by law." This is boilerplate EEO; instruction says remove EEO/equal-opportunity boilerplate. So we drop that. Also there is "Upon an applicant's request, CarMax will consider reasonable accommodation to complete the CarMax Job Application." That's also accommodation statement; could be considered legal/EEO? Might be considered boilerplate; but it's about accommodation. Might be considered legal; but not explicitly listed to remove. However it's a kind of accommodation statement; could be considered legal. Safer to drop? The instruction says remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate. This is legal/accommodation statement; likely considered legal boilerplate. So drop. Also there is "For more details about benefits, please visit our CarMax Benefits website." That's a reference; we can keep as part of Benefits paragraph? It's a referral; we could keep but it's not substantive detail; but it's part of benefits description. Might keep. We need to preserve all substantive information; not drop details like "Except as otherwise required by state law, CarMax Associates are entitled to the following paid sick, vacation, and holiday time." etc. That's substantive. Thus Benefits section will include that paragraph. Now we need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown. We'll structure:About the role

We should not include Schedule section. Check for any duplicated lines: we have not duplicated. Check for any boilerplate: we removed EEO and accommodation statement. Check for any minor metadata like Job ID: we dropped "7204 - Lexington - 105 Sand Lake Dr, Lexington, Kentucky, 40515". That's location address; is that substantive? It's location. Should we keep? The instruction says do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a shortor drop it. The address is location metadata; could be considered minor metadata. Should we drop it? It's not a heading; it's just location
