About the role

Rillet seeks a versatile and driven Business Operations Associate to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a generalist who thrives in fast-paced environments and is eager to gain broad, cross-functional exposure at a category-defining startup.

Responsibilities

  • Drive execution on key initiatives, ensuring efficient and timely project delivery.
  • Tackle operational challenges to help Rillet meet company-wide goals.
  • Own and manage daily operations across HR, finance, and administrative functions.
  • Design, implement, and improve scalable processes to support organizational growth.
  • Take ownership of high-impact initiatives from day one, such as:
    • Preparing the investor report,
    • identifying high-priority prospects,
    • setting up outbound sales sequences,
    • Selecting and onboarding new vendors,
    • Project managing the implementation of new CRM features with external consultants.

Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in a Management Consulting firm, preferably from MBB or experience in a venture capital, private equity.
  • Previous Business Operations experience.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and a natural problem-solver.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Proven track record of taking initiative, navigating ambiguity, and delivering measurable results.
  • Action-oriented with a bias toward execution—you move quickly, take ownership, and aren’t afraid to pitch in beyond your core responsibilities.
  • Willingness to travel a few times yearly for team offsites, events, and gatherings.

Qualifications

  • College degree preferred.
  • Experience with financial systems and processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay

Competitive salary and equity compensation.

Schedule

Work in-office Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus one additional flexible in-office day. Certain roles may require additional in-office time based on function.
