Business Office Manager In Training
About the role
The Business Office Manager in Training provides leadership over the financial duties of the facility including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, benefits administration and resident trust.
Responsibilities
- Guide, inspire, and support the office team to achieve high standards of accuracy, accountability and promote a positive and collaborative environment.
- Accuracy in documentation, record keeping, data entry, financial reporting and billing.
- Address issues effectively by prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Empathetic engagement with residents and families. Clear, effective communication with interdisciplinary teams.
- Conflict resolution and mediation skills.
- Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for our residents.
- Works with and promotes collaboration among departments, professionals, consultants, and organizations including government regulatory agencies.
- Teamwork: The ability to work towards a common goal of excellent care for our residents.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required, college is preferred
- One to three years nursing home or business office accounting experience preferred
- Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare systems
- Customer Service focused and the ability to demonstrate the core values listed above is a must!
