Business Office Coordinator Full Time

Responsibilities

  • Knows, adheres to, and enforces all policies of the business office
  • Aid business office manager with supervising of business office employees and processes
  • Responsible for the orientation and training of registration and front office staff
  • Responsible for taking deposits to the bank as needed; backup to the BOM
  • Informs business office manager of applicable day-to-day situations
  • Follows all equipment safety guidelines and is personally responsible for knowledgeable use and care of equipment
  • Aid business manager with overall strategic planning of the business office
  • Aid the Business Office Manager to develop and maintain policies & procedures and systems to minimize DSO and the rate of bad debt and increase the productivity of related operations
  • Perform other activities as requested by the business manager, and assume other appropriate operational responsibilities as necessary

Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • 2+ years’ experience in medical practice or similar setting
  • Computer experience desirable
