About the role
Columbia College Chicago hires Adjunct Faculty to teach part-time courses in various disciplines including Advertising, Arts Management, Design Management, Marketing, Music Business, Public Relations, Social Media and Digital Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Strategic Communication, Intellectual Property Management, Interactive Media Development and Entrepreneurship, Live and Performing Arts Management, Pre-Law Studies, Sports Management, Talent Management, and Visual Arts Management.
Responsibilities
- Teach part-time courses in designated areas
- Contribute to a diverse educational environment
- Engage with students from various social and cultural backgrounds
- Work within the framework of the college's mission and values
Requirements
- Possess a degree at least one level above the level at which you teach, with a terminal degree preferred
- Demonstrated currency in a specialized discipline or a sustained history of distinguished professional work, creative achievements, or significant experience in the relevant field may be considered as an alternative to the required degree

Pay
Entry level compensation rate for teaching one 3-credit course as of Fall 2026 is $5,635.00. Compensation for courses that carry fewer or more than three credits will be prorated down or up accordingly.
Schedule
Part-time schedule contingent upon student enrollment and funding availability.
