We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Manager to join our team in Englewood, CO.
What You'll Do
Oversee all business unit financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and reporting to ensure targets are met or exceeded
Analyze financial performance data and present actionable insights to senior leadership on a regular basis
Monitor project margins, overhead, and labor utilization to identify opportunities for improvement
Manage accounts receivable, billing processes, and coordinate with corporate finance on cash flow and reporting
Partner with Project Managers and field superintendents to ensure projects are executed on schedule, on budget, and in compliance with safety standards
Develop and implement operational policies, workflows, and best practices that improve efficiency across the business unit
Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated operational issues, facilitating resolution with internal teams and external stakeholders
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead adoption of new tools, technologies, and processes
What You'll Bring
Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Construction Management, or a related field; MBA preferred, 7+ years of progressive experience in business management, operations, or a similar leadership role, Background in electrical construction, utility contracting, or the energy sector is highly desirable
Skills & Competencies: Exceptional financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis, Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop teams, Excellent communication skills — capable of presenting complex information clearly to executive, operational, and client audiences, Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with ERP, project management, or financial systems a plus, Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment, High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to PAR's values of Safety, Quality, and Excellence
