Amazon Delivery Station in Fontainebleau/Miami Business Logistics Solutions is a new, independent delivery service partner serving Amazon Prime customers from Amazon's facility at 6703 NW 7th St, Miami, FL 33126.

About the role

As a Delivery Associate (DA), you will deliver packages to homes, retail locations, and other delivery points. You will play a key role in exceeding customer expectations by ensuring timely and accurate deliveries of all orders, large or small.

Responsibilities

• Drive a delivery van to drop off Amazon packages within your community.
• Work approximately 2-3 days per week, including weekends and holidays, with shifts typically lasting 8 to 10 hours.
• Follow strict safety standards on and off the road.
• Interact with Amazon customers and the public in a professional and positive manner.
• Use handheld technology to manage the delivery process and resolve obstacles.
• Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, fueled, and in good operating condition at all times.
• Assist in training other team members and support coworkers as needed.

Work Environment

• Drive an Amazon-branded high-roof van (up to 10,000 pounds) to deliver packages to residences and businesses, climbing in and out of the van and walking up and down stairs as required.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Adapt to varying routes and potential delays due to traffic, construction, or other factors.
• Flexible core schedule with possible adjustments, including additional hours during peak seasons.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Florida driver’s license in good standing (CDL not required).
• U.S. work authorization.
• High-school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate and navigate a large delivery van with a gross vehicle weight of 10,000 lbs. or less.
• Capable of moving, lifting, or pushing boxes up to 70 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts up to 12 hours long.
• Physically fit to enter and exit the van frequently (up to 100–2000 times per day) to deliver up to 350 packages daily.
• Capable of moving up and down stairs.
• Ability to effectively operate a GPS.
