Business Litigation Associate

About the role

Pursuing a career in complex commercial litigation, particularly in business disputes, real estate, breach of fiduciary duties, contract disputes, business torts, including noncompete/restrictive covenants, trade secret misappropriations, intellectual property, shareholder derivative litigation, and class actions.

Responsibilities

- Prepare quality first drafts of pleadings, motion papers, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and other standard documents. - Competently assist with fast-paced complex litigation, maintaining priorities and anticipating issues. - Demonstrate professional commitment and interpersonal skills in a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

- At least two years of experience in complex commercial litigation. - Excellent academic credentials and a J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited school. - Law Review/Journal or Moot Court experience is a plus. - Must be licensed to practice in Ohio. - Some trial or evidentiary hearing experience is a plus.
