About the Role
The Analyst provides analytical support for all departments, including analysis, pricing, capitation, network and provider-specific reporting. This role involves creating and executing beginner and intermediate-level reports, programming modifications, collaborating with key stakeholders, and working with multiple databases to pull, integrate, and model data.
Responsibilities
- Execute, write, test, validate, analyze, and distribute reports.
- Determine appropriate approaches and tools to complete projects efficiently and on time.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and senior analysts to define report requirements and specifications.
- Present report results, key findings, and trends to stakeholders.
- Complete multiple concurrent ad-hoc analyses and provide reports based on customer specifications, including analytical conclusions and recommendations.
- Develop beginner to intermediate-level reports and ad-hoc analyses based on department management specifications.
- Automate reports and ensure timely delivery.
- Perform tasks related to the maintenance of the Departmental Data Warehouse and its documentation.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to apply advanced mathematical and statistical techniques to analyze health-related data.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present results clearly and concisely.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal).
- Successful completion of a Health Care Sanctions background check.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science, or other quantitative disciplines preferred.
- Demonstrated experience using analytical software (SAS or SQL preferred).
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar software preferred.
- 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
