Join our dynamic team that powers the intelligence behind Prime Video's personalized viewing experience. As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will leverage meaningful insights that directly influence how viewers interact with one of the world's largest streaming platforms. You'll be at the intersection of entertainment and technology, collaborating with engineering, product management, and marketing to uncover patterns in viewer behavior and translate them into actionable recommendations.

This role offers the opportunity to impact how customers discover new content they'll love, whether they're browsing the homepage or searching for their next binge-worthy series. Your work will shape the viewing experience for millions of Prime Video users globally. You'll be part of a team that values creative problem-solving and data-driven decision making, working with modern technologies and methodologies in the streaming entertainment space.

Responsibilities

  • Drive data-based strategic decisions for an international video streaming service
  • Partner with engineering, product, and marketing teams
  • Set and track program goals and metrics
  • Design scalable data solutions based on business requirements
  • Develop reporting dashboards and metrics visualization
  • Use tools like SQL, ETL, Redshift, QuickSight, and Tableau
  • Manage complete development lifecycle from design to maintenance

Requirements

  • 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, or similar technologies
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, QuickSight, or similar tools
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
  • Experience in statistical analysis packages such as R, SAS, and Matlab
  • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse
  • Scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
  • Experience in data mining, ETL, and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
  • Bachelor's degree or advanced studies in a quantitative field (engineering, economics, math, and statistics)
  • Experience managing large technical programs, particularly at high growth startups or large enterprises

Pay

USA, WA, Seattle - $99,500.00 - $160,000.00 USD annually
