About the Team
Amazon Leo OISL Team is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer who is data-driven, uncompromisingly detail-oriented, and passionate about transforming complex operational data into actionable insights. You will partner closely with production, supply chain, and operations leadership to design and deliver BI solutions that drive decisions at scale across our fulfillment and manufacturing programs. You are not tool-centric — you determine what technology best fits the problem and apply it accordingly. You can communicate complex analytical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings strong skills in business process understanding, data modeling, report development, complex SQL authoring, testing, troubleshooting, metadata management, and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support BI solutions that turn operational data into actionable insights for Senior Leadership and Production Managers across OISL programs.
- Assemble large, complex datasets that meet functional business and operations requirements across supply line, rework, and manufacturing domains.
- Work with analysts, production managers, and subject matter experts to design and develop data models and reports spanning operational business domains.
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements — automating manual reporting workflows, optimizing data delivery pipelines, and re-designing
