We are seeking an exceptional Business Intelligence Engineer to join the Amazon Global Logistics Analytics team, driving core and advanced science initiatives for Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA). This role supports Sales, Marketing, and Pricing analytics, building end-to-end business intelligence solutions to transform industry operations.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scaled, automated, and user-friendly systems, reports, and dashboards to support analytical and business needs for customer promise and operations.
  • Apply analytical and statistical rigor to solve complex problems and drive business decisions aligned with strategic goals.
  • Write high-quality SQL code to retrieve and analyze data from databases (e.g., Redshift, MySQL, Oracle) and determine appropriate usage of Amazon’s data resources.
  • Develop queries and visualizations for ad-hoc requests, projects, and ongoing reporting.
  • Lead the design, development, and management of analytical tools and reporting while providing thought leadership and business analysis support.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, or similar technologies.
  • 1+ years of experience with SQL, ETL, or Oracle.
  • 1+ years of experience processing large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources.
  • 1+ years of experience performing statistical analysis.
  • 1+ years of experience developing automated reporting.
  • 3+ years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
  • Experience using SQL to pull data from databases or data warehouses and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in data mining, ETL, and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.

Pay

Base salary range: $99,500 – $160,000 USD annually for this position in Bellevue, WA.
