About the role
This hybrid position requires in-office presence 2 days a week in Sacramento, CA and is open to California residents only. The role provides end-to-end reporting and analytical services to internal business partners and leadership, developing and leading integrated Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement BI solutions, including reports, metrics, dashboards, and scorecards.
- Apply business knowledge and technical expertise to create databases, data warehouses, data marts, interfaces, custom programming, complex reports, and analysis.
- Provide technical expertise in architecture and development of integrated data and business process improvement solutions.
- Work with large and complex datasets, analyzing file structures, transforming raw data into finished products (e.g., trending reports).
- Develop business intelligence and reporting solutions using Data Warehouse methodology and dimensional modeling.
- Manage logical and physical data modeling, relational database design, and system-wide metadata.
- Research, conceptualize, and implement solutions from problem identification to desired outcomes.
- Collaborate with individuals and groups at various organizational levels, including senior management, to provide recommendations and influence decision-making.
- Lead, train, and coach team members, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Manage multiple, simultaneous, complex projects in a rapidly changing environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Applied Statistics, Computer Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8 years of recent relevant experience in BI, reporting, or data analytics.
- 6+ years of in-depth experience developing and implementing BI solutions (reports, metrics, dashboards, scorecards).
- Advanced experience with databases (e.g., SQL Server) and large datasets.
- Experience with healthcare data (e.g., Finance, HR, Clinical), preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Proficiency in Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services, and Tableau.
- Familiarity with healthcare information sources, including coding & billing, reimbursement, and finance data files.
- Solid understanding of data management principles, including logical/physical data modeling and relational database design.

Schedule
- Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts.
- No weekend requirements.

Pay
Pay range is $56.46 to $84.69 per hour, varying based on geographic location, experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs.
