Pay
The typical starting salary range for this position is $76,000 to $110,000, depending on factors such as geographic location, education, experience, and skill set. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus potential or other compensation considerations. GBLI offers a total compensation plan that includes bonuses for all positions.
Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and upgrade content across the Microsoft Power BI platform.
- Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and how they impact the business.
- Update metrics as needed using new trends in data and initiatives from leadership.
- Develop underwriting and profitability performance metrics alerts for senior management.
- Support Finance operations with automation of routine analyses.
- Troubleshoot problems with the data warehouse and work with IT on developing a solution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field
- Programming experience in SQL
- 1-3 years’ experience in Microsoft’s Power BI (or comparable software)
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Excellent analytical, data, and creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Experience with Property and Casualty insurance is a plus but not required
