Pay

The typical starting salary range for this position is $76,000 to $110,000, depending on factors such as geographic location, education, experience, and skill set. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus potential or other compensation considerations. GBLI offers a total compensation plan that includes bonuses for all positions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, maintain, and upgrade content across the Microsoft Power BI platform.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and how they impact the business.
  • Update metrics as needed using new trends in data and initiatives from leadership.
  • Develop underwriting and profitability performance metrics alerts for senior management.
  • Support Finance operations with automation of routine analyses.
  • Troubleshoot problems with the data warehouse and work with IT on developing a solution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field
  • Programming experience in SQL
  • 1-3 years’ experience in Microsoft’s Power BI (or comparable software)
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Excellent analytical, data, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Experience with Property and Casualty insurance is a plus but not required
