Business Intelligence Developer

About the role

The Business Intelligence Developer (BI Developer) is responsible for the design and development of Business Intelligence applications that meet the strategic information needs of the organization. This position also conducts data analyses to produce business intelligence for strategic decision-making. The BI Developer works closely with operational areas to implement reporting applications that support new or modified business processes.

This position is 100% on-site in Flowood, MS. There is no remote or hybrid function.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
• At least three years of experience in SQL coding for relational databases such as DB2, SQL Server, or Netezza
• Working knowledge in business intelligence and analytics platforms such as WebFOCUS or Tableau
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel
• Excellent oral and written communications skills, and demonstrated ability in business writing
• Must be able to be on-call for after-business-hours support as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in creating dashboards and interactive reporting applications
• Prior experience in data analytics
• Exposure to Object Oriented programming techniques, HTML 5, or JavaScript
