Why ACPWB
ACPWB occupies a distinctive position: large enough to be credible, small enough to be agile, old enough to have a track record, young enough to still be building it. The people who thrive here find that combination energizing rather than disorienting. Founded in Milwaukee in 2006, ACPWB helps working Americans understand and advocate for the compensation they deserve. Eighteen years later, the mandate has grown into a full‑service research and advisory practice serving clients from early‑stage employers to Fortune 50 enterprises, and the company remains based in Milwaukee.
Interview Process
- 30‑minute talent screen.
- 60‑minute hiring manager interview.
- 90‑minute cross‑functional panel.
- Final conversation with a senior leader.
The process typically completes in two to three weeks, with outcomes communicated at each stage.
What Success Looks Like
- Ship at least two meaningful features or improvements to the employee data warehouse with full documentation.
- Reduce at least one identified pain point for the analytical team through tooling or infrastructure improvement.
- Receive positive feedback from a non‑technical stakeholder on the reliability or usability of a system you own.
- Support at least one cross‑functional project where your technical work enables an advisory deliverable.
- Document the components of the employee data warehouse you own at a level sufficient for another engineer to maintain them.
