Responsibilities

The Business Intelligence Analyst will support the Global Investment and Economic Security mission to protect U.S. national security interests and Defense Industrial Base (DIB) equities from adversarial capital, foreign influence, and strategic risk exposure. The analyst will conduct Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence (FOCI) and economic security due diligence assessments of risk associated with foreign investment, corporate ownership structures, and industrial base dependencies. Will conduct business intelligence, economic, and threat analysis to develop analytic products. Integrate subject matter expertise and market analysis, leveraging business intelligence tools to connect large diverse data sources from government, commercial, and open sources. Research and assess foreign companies’ business operations and foreign investment activity that may present national security considerations for the Department of War, and collaborate across relevant offices within the Department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business, National Security, Management, or related field
  • 7+ years of relevant experience conducting economic security, financial analysis, business intelligence, or financial crimes enforcement
  • 2+ years of direct support to DoW Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence (FOCI) assessments
  • Experience analyzing corporate structures, ownership, investment activity, or industrial base dynamics
  • Accepted TS/SCI clearance

Qualifications

  • Desired Master's degree in Business, Finance, or Economics
  • Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or Specialist Certificate in Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT)
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or Certified in Financial or Forensics (CFF)
  • Military Intelligence experience

Pay

Virginia, Pay Transparency Salary range: USD $140,000.00/Yr. - USD $170,000.00/Yr.
