Position Summary

Join a highly technical analytical team in a dynamic work environment as a member of the Analytical, Formulation and Stability (AFS) department and participate in contracted client analytical programs for monoclonal antibodies, recombinant proteins, and peptides as a Business Intelligence Analyst.

Role Responsibilities

  • Assists with contractual and financial execution of projects, including proposals, change orders, revenue recognition, and monthly budget review.
  • Includes review of costs and identifying errors and/or misallocations for spend and working with finance to resolve and support of CapEx forecasting and management.
  • Supports business development new business forecasting, capacity planning, program on-boarding, and deliverable delivery.
  • May support drafting or review of proposals and change orders and/or tracking and monitoring of scopes of work.
  • Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers.
  • Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences. Constructs forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge.
  • Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements.
  • May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues.
  • May directly produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools.
  • Special cross-group/functional projects
  • Champions, maintains, and publishes key departmental performance metrics
  • Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum requirement BS/BA degree and 3-5 years of experience; MBA and/or PMP preferred.
  • Interpersonal soft skills and ability to work well with a diverse group of contributors.
  • Business acumen & long-term planning viewpoint, ability to problem solve and set priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, coordination of cross-functional teams.
  • High integrity and personal responsibility, action oriented.
  • Excellent written & oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of biologics industry is preferred but not required.
