About the role

At Granite Insurance, we are seeking a Business Insurance Account Manager to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to build strong client relationships, provide expert advice, and ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing customized solutions.
  • Assist with qualifying new business opportunities in conjunction with the sales team.
  • Stay updated on insurance products, regulations, and industry trends to effectively advise clients on the most suitable insurance solutions.
  • Coordinate policy renewals, endorsements, and claims processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Analyze clients' risk exposures and recommend appropriate coverage options to mitigate risks.
  • Maintain accurate client records, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and manage documentation related to insurance policies.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and finance teams to deliver comprehensive insurance solutions and excellent customer service.
  • Educate clients on insurance-related topics, including coverage options, policy features, and risk management strategies.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, such as client retention rates, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in insurance sales, account management, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, underwriting principles, and risk management concepts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Relevant insurance certifications (e.g., CIC, CPCU) are a plus.

Qualifications

  • Mid Level (3-6 years) experience.
  • No formal education required.
