Business Installation & Repair Technician

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain various voice, data, security, and VoIP communication systems and equipment
• Ensure work orders are completed while building on your customer service skills
• Drive to and from customer locations in a defined geographic area to perform installation of services
• Utilize a laptop computer and various software applications

Requirements

• 1–5 years of experience working with telecommunication networks or similar electrical fields
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working independently and a strong technical aptitude
• Working knowledge of Cisco systems or similar equipment manufacturers

Work Conditions

• Travel will be required with a company-provided vehicle
• Home-based dispatching role
• Physical requirements include sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), working at heights and in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces, as well as in all types of weather conditions (deemed safe)
• Weekend and on-call work required as needed
