Business Development Representative - Sales

Primary Responsibilities

• Generate leads and opportunities from non-designated accounts in assigned geographic area
• Find ways into businesses that we are not currently doing business with today to gather specific information
• Sell New & Used equipment to New C & D Level prospect accounts
• Update all leads and opportunities in CRM, populating all required fields
• Meet face to face to customers, demonstrating the value statement of Shoppa’s, promote all available products and services
• Collaborate with team members that will be engaged in the opportunities created
• Collect specific Units In Operation (UIO) information and update with the UIO Management team
• Any other duties assigned by the company

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associates degree preferred
• 1-2 years’ experience in sales required; experience in material handling industry preferred
• Able to consider all aspects of selling including: vendor relationships, profit and loss concepts, and long and short-term goals of the company
• Great interpersonal skills and a team player mentality
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Able to meet deadlines and highly detail oriented
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
